The title 'Mouser' was given to several cartoon cats, including one in the 1940s Warner Bros. cartoon 'Pep Talk' and in various 'Tom & Jerry' episodes where cats were referred to as mousers. In Nintendo's Super Mario series, the Mouser character appears as a bomb-throwing mouse boss enemy, first appearing in 'Super Mario Bros. 2'.
