Furby is most famously known as the electronic toy phenomenon from Tiger Electronics launched in 1998. The interactive pet-like robot appeared in multiple TV shows including 'The Big Bang Theory' where it was featured as a running gag, and in 'Will & Grace' where Jack becomes obsessed with collecting them. It also made a memorable appearance in the film 'Small Soldiers' (1998) where it was parodied.
